E-END - A Diary from Prague 6/6


The Holy Scripture says: "But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matthew 24:13)

...And yet the human, even a Christian (perhaps not in the proper sense) struggles with the concept of Death. - but the very notion of Christianity is "in the end, one will be saved". Despite this, the man dwindles in his misery and angst, in his fear of dying, yet in the end, the man will be saved. Paradise awaits us, still, man cannot strike faith in His Greatness. In spite he refuses to acknowledge that "paradise awaits us", even a near-proper Christian finds irony, disbelief, and doubt in God.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. - Ecclesiastes 3:11

Yet, wonderfully the Lord forgives us:

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23

But what is the END then? If Death is only the beginning, in the Christian sense...well, someone wise, utterly Christian, once spoke the wise words: "So to be sick unto death is not to be able to die -- yet not as though there were hope of life; no, the hopelessness in this case is that even the last hope, death, is not available." And for such there is only one cure, unyielding and unconditional obedience.

...in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” - Corinthians 15:52-54

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. - Romans 6:22

The task is known, unconditional obedience, yet to obey such a command is difficult - the most difficult task man may be set upon - but the rewards to be reaped are uncomparable, the grace and love of God are immeasurable, the beauty is the gentlest love stroke, and its hiddenness the very essential perfection.


Now St.Potter has spoken. Find purity, find virtuosity, find love in God, and you will be the grandest person to all fellow travelers - may they be unspiritual or fellow believers - you will bring joy, love, and wisdom to all. You will be granted all heavenly splendor, you will be granted a seat on Father's Holy Feast, and most importantly you will have no END; perishability will become a distant whisper at some unfaithful garden party worshipping the devil - your echo will majestically shine of imperishability, for you have struck gold in his Greatness.

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.- 1 Peter 1:23
